Jose Luis Leon has been teaching salsa for 12 years and has competed and exhibited his dancing skills throughout New York. He performs regularly at Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz during its yearly Ballroom Weekend, and has done numerous performances with his students including the Metropolitan Opera House, the American Ballet Theater, The Yard at Martha's Vineyard, and the Montauk House in Brooklyn. In 2002, Jose Luis created Mi Tierra Dancers with his students and performed at Union Square Park, Chelsea Piers Lighthouse, and other private events. Ask him how you can join the Mi Tierra Dancers.
